A big thank you to Kinvara Tidy Towns for planting with us last week.
The children sowed a range of flowers and vegetables that they will take home in the coming weeks. Some children sowed marigolds seeds gathered from the locality. We also sowed sunflowers and a mixture of carrots, herbs and peas.
Kinvara Tidy Towns use recyclable pots for sowing. They use harvested rain water and create their own compost.
The 6th Class sowed some wild flowers in our wild flower garden beside the entrance to the school. All the planting tied in with our Food Dudes Week, Incredible Edibles & Green Schools Programme.
